Hazelnuts

The fruit of the hazelnut is an oily seed rich in unsaturated fatty acids (e.g. essential oleic acid), vitamins (e.g. E and B vitamins, folic acid), fiber, antioxidants and minerals (e.g. manganese, potassium, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, zinc, selenium). Its nutrients support our hormone balance, heart, blood vessels and nervous system, digestion and immune system. It can be used to flavour cakes, mixed into muesli, porridge, ground and even used in smoothies.
